An Electoral Experiment in North Carolina
I think that this idea isn't too bad actually. I like how they do more of a poll instead of the normal way the Electoral College works. I like how you pick in order your favorite candidates so in the end the winner isn't too horrible, at least to most people. I think that this is a fair way to pick people as a winner.

Current Event #2
So this pretty much makes no sense to me. The recession ended a year ago? Really? One: Why are they just now telling us all of this? And two: Why are things still crappy? Did you know that the poverty rate is up like, 10% from a year ago? So remind me again when this recession ended?

Current Event #1
Mosque at Ground Zero
In my personal opinion, I honestly don't care if they build a Mosque near Ground Zero. It's not going to effect me in any way. I have nothing against Muslims, they never did anything to me. But I think that it's kind of hypocritical of this nation to be against building this Mosque. Wasn't this nation founded on the idea that people would have the freedom of speech? The freedom to believe what you want? The freedom to follow the religion of your choosing? Not building this mosque denys their right to freedom of religion. The rights of people aren't selective or don't just work when it's convenient to you or other people. It applies to everyone, including Muslims. And believe it or not, not all Muslims are terrorists. I happen to be friends with a few people who are Muslim. They're probably some of the nicest people I know. The rights of people don't just apply when it's convenient for you, it applies 24/7.

Themes project #2
I used this for chit-chat because that's how everyone communicates.
This is for teeth because of the teeth of a zipper.
This is for over my head because it's, well, litterally over my head. haha
This is for nick of time because my brother just barely placed for a medal in this race.
This is for attention to detail because I guess there's a lot of details to it? haha
This is for Full circle because they're all in a circle.

2. How is lighting used in this photograph? It appears to be an LED light.
3. How is the framing of this photograph important to the self portrait? The black background creates a dark feeling.
4. What else is shown in the photograph, and how does this relate to the self portrait? Even though her eyes are not centered or anything, im still drawn to them. they look bright. like she knows something.
1. What mood does this photograph portray? Very dark. Sinister almost.
2. How is lighting used in this photograph? LED.
3. How is the framing of this photograph important to the self portrait? Her body frames her face, which forces you to look there.
4. What else is shown in the photograph, and how does this relate to the self portrait? It portrays an emotion. She devilish and mischevious.
