self-portrait ideas

1. What mood does this photograph portray? she looks attentive. like shes giving you a look that says, "I need to talk to you."
2. How is lighting used in this photograph? It appears to be an LED light.
3. How is the framing of this photograph important to the self portrait? The black background creates a dark feeling.
4. What else is shown in the photograph, and how does this relate to the self portrait? Even though her eyes are not centered or anything, im still drawn to them. they look bright. like she knows something.

personally, i like this picture for the irony. hahahah. any ways. the shutter speed is probably at something like 1/200? and the iso is something like, 400 or 600.
slow shutter speed because of the motion blurs of the people. the iso is probably in the middle. like 400 or 600?

POTW#2

I would say that they had a fast shutter speed to capture the explosion. ISO was probably in the middle, like 600 or 800 because of the faster shutter speed.
fast shutter speed. High ISO because it looks slightly over exposed but a good amount.


Slow shutter speed, high ISO because they're in a dark room.
